Preserving our Stories
Community Archiving

October 20
5;30 pm - 6:30 pm

REGISTER HERE

Join us for a community gathering centered on the power of archives, storytelling, and collective memory. This event brings together a panel of archivists and memory keepers to explore what archiving really means, who it serves, and why it matters, especially for communities whose stories have too often been erased, overlooked, or misrepresented.

Together, we’ll talk about what ethical archiving looks like in practice, how archives can honor lived experience instead of extracting from it, and why preserving personal and community stories is an act of care, resistance, and legacy building. Panelists will share insight into their work, the responsibility that comes with holding history, and ways individuals can begin documenting and protecting their own stories and the stories around them.

Freewill donation and open to all 18+
